OCTC clients under the age of 19 and their families can register with the Adaptive Toys & Tech Resource Centre by calling 613-831-5127 to borrow items such as toys adapted for children with physical or visual impairments, educational software, reference books and DVDs for families, communication devices and specialized computer peripherals such as adapted keyboards and mice.

Our catalogue can be used to practise the specific skills being worked on at school or in therapy (such as communication, literacy or motor skills), or simply to provide more opportunities for meaningful play.

OCTC clients and families may also borrow specialized equipment or software to see if it will be helpful before deciding if they would like to purchase their own.

OCTC's Technical Services Team is happy to help you find the items you need, show you how to use them, and answer any questions you may have!

For your convenience, you can also browse our catalogue online. Each entry in our catalogue includes a photograph, title, and description of the item. You can even find out whether the item is currently available or out on loan.

Please note that although you do not need to be registered with the Adaptive Toys & Tech Resource Centre if you just want to browse online, you will need to register by calling 613-831-5127 in order to borrow an item.
