What does the Ottawa Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation do?

The Ottawa Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation raises funds to benefit the children who are clients of OCTC, through support for client programs, equipment purchases, research and other needs.

How are gifts utilized?

Gifts to the OCTC Foundation support all children, youth and adults served by the Ottawa Children’s Treatment Centre. Here are some examples of the ways your gift can be utilized:

• Summer programs and other leisure activities
• Music and other sensory therapy
• Wheelchair dance program
• Trips and cooking classes
• Custom wheelchairs and strollers
• Voice output equipment and literacy help for children who cannot speak

Ways to give

The OCTC Foundation gratefully accepts donations from generous individuals and corporate supporters. Also, each year, two high-profile special events benefit the work of the Foundation: the “For The Kids” Charity Auction and the “Bump ‘N Smash” Beach Volleyball Tournament.

The OCTC Foundation also welcomes planned gifts such as bequests in a will, life insurance policies or charitable gift annuities. Gifts may also include property such as real estate or works of art.
